Game On Marketing with the support of the Municipality of Paralimni and the institutional support of the Municipality of Famagusta, announces a 30km, 10km, 5km and a children’s 1000m race for children under 12 years of age which will be held on October 11, 2026 at 07:00 with the start and finish at the Municipal Parking Lot near Fig Tree Beach.

Age Limit of Participants

Based on the announcement of the race, in the 30 km race, athletes who have reached the age of 18 can participate, in the 10 km race, athletes who have reached the age of 16, and in the 5 km race, athletes who have reached the age of 13.

Each participant will receive a commemorative medal, electronic individual timing and personal participation number, a participation certificate in electronic form as well as gifts from sponsors

Start Time

Start Time: 07:30 for the 30 km race, 08:30 for the 10 km race, 10:00 for the 5 km race and 11:15 for the Kids race.

Description of the 30 km race route

The 30 km race route starts and ends at the Municipal Parking Area near Fig Tree Beach and heads in a Southeasterly direction through Cavo Greko Avenue to Konnou Avenue where the first U-turn of the 30 km race is located. In the opposite direction, we head through Cavo Greko Avenue towards Protaras Street to run the 2 loops of the route, continue on Mantaliou Street, turn left at the Pernera Avenue junction and at its junction with Protaras-Cavo Greko Avenue we turn right up to the Kapparis/Tinou Avenue junction where the second U-turn of the 30km race is located. In reverse direction we head towards the starting point of the race and the third natural turn that will take place at the roundabout on Protaras Avenue near Capo Bay where the first loop of the distance is completed, we continue for the second turn (loop) and when returning we turn right onto Dimitris Lagiou Street and we reach the finish of the race which is located at the Municipal Parking Area

Description of the 10 km race route

The 10 km race route starts and ends at the Municipal Parking Area near Fig Tree Beach and heads North along Protaras Street towards Mantaliou Street, we turn left at the junction of Pernera Avenue and at its intersection with the Avenue Protaras-Cavo Greco we turn right until the “Panorama” housing complex where the 10km race U-turn is located. In reverse direction we head towards the finish of the race which is located at the Municipal Parking Area

Description of the 5km race route

The 5km race route starts and ends at the Municipal Parking Area next to Fig Tree Beach and heads North through Protaras Street towards Mantaliou Street a few meters before the Pernera Avenue junction where the 5km race turn-off is located. We head in reverse towards the finish line of the race located at the Municipal Parking Area

Description of the 1000-meter race route

The 1000-meter race route starts and ends at the Municipal Parking Area next to Fig Tree Beach and heads North along Protaras Street until the turnoff located at the height of the hotel “Kokkinos Hotel apartments”

Important information for runners

At Home

Before starting from home, make sure you have the following with you:

  1. Your participation number and safety pins
  2. The shoes and clothes you will run in.
  3. Clothes and shoes for after the race.

Start of the Race

Participants must ensure that they are at the Start of the Race by their own means, one hour at the latest before the start time.

Attention: From 06:30 to 11:30 there will be a ban on the traffic of wheeled vehicles on the race route.

Positioning at the starting line

No later than 15 minutes before the start, runners must have taken their positions at the starting line. Athletes from abroad and athletes from running clubs will occupy the first rows at the starting line.

Runners are kindly requested, demonstrating sportsmanship and “fair play”, to

give up this position to athletes who will compete for distinctions.

During the race

The following support stations will be located along the route:

  • Water supply stations: starting from the 5th kilometer, every 2.5 kilometers and at the finish.
  • First aid stations: scattered along the route and at the finish.
  • First Aiders with motorbikes will follow the runners and an ambulance will be on

standby at the finish

  • Rescuers and volunteers will be scattered along the route.

Race Completion Time Limit

The finishing time limit for the 30km race is Four hours and thirty minutes

That is, runners must have finished their effort by 11:30

If a runner abandons their effort for any reason, they must contact a person in charge or a volunteer at any point along the route.

In the event that a runner does not require medical assistance, he/she may:

  • (a) remain at the point where he/she stopped his/her effort until he/she is collected by an event vehicle that will transport him/her to the finish line,
  • (b) wait for the vehicle that follows the last runners and collects the athletes who abandon, or
  • (c) head towards the finish line at his/her own risk

ATTENTION: It is strictly forbidden for runners to continue their effort outside the time limit, at any point along the route, they must be aware that they will either continue their effort ON THE PAVEMENT , or they will be MANDATORY collected by an event vehicle or by a police car so the race route opens for vehicles.

After 11:30 the police will hand over the race route to car traffic.

Electronic Timing

There will be electronic control and timing zones at the Start – Finish.

There will also be control stations at remote intermediate points along the race route. Any runner who does not have an electronic indication at the start, finish and intermediate control zones will be disqualified.

The electronic timing of the race as well as the publication of the results has been undertaken by a Timing Company. For this reason, all participating runners must wear the number with the integrated timing chip that they receive from the Registration Center.

After the Finish

Immediate medical assistance can be provided by the medical staff located in the finish area.

At the exit from the finish area, athletes will be provided with water, isotonic drink and fruit.

PRIZE AWARDS

Prizes are awarded to the first three winners of the overall Men’s and

Women’s classification for each race and to the first 3 teams of the corporate/team race

(average time of the first 5 athletes/three of each team).

Honorary Diplomas will be sent after the official announcement of the results

(once the one week deadline for any objections has passed) to the first three winners

45 – 49 years old

50 – 54 years old

55 – 59 years old

65 – 69 years old
